Deepening Understanding
Explore the whole story and evolvement of the framework and movement, and deepen your understanding and navigation in why and how inner development can unlock outer, systemic change.

Deepening capacity for global stewardship and transmission, as a community.
A four-day immersive gathering for certified IDG Ambassadors who feel called to deepen their engagement, contribution, and stewardship within the global Inner Development movement.
Many ambassadors leave the programme inspired and equipped to bring the Inner Development Goals into their work and communities.
Some also begin to feel a deeper calling.
A calling not only to apply the work, but to help steward it. To support future ambassadors. To host meaningful conversations. To cultivate learning spaces. To strengthen the global network. To help the movement evolve in service of a flourishing future.
The Deep Dive is designed for those who sense this next step emerging.
“An invitation to deepen not only what we know about inner development, but who we become as stewards, facilitators, and contributors.”

Explore the whole story and evolvement of the framework and movement, and deepen your understanding and navigation in why and how inner development can unlock outer, systemic change.
Create new collaborations and partnerships, ideate and spark each other to action, with the strength and support of a very dedicated and engaged global community. Be part of the core of the movement worldwide.
Bring real questions, challenges, and opportunities from your own context and learn together through inquiry, dialogue, and shared exploration.

A central element of the gathering will be dedicated time with Erik Fernholm, a renowned and awarded thought-leader in the fields of inner development for outer change and systemic thinking.
Together we will explore where we are as a society, where we are heading, and why inner development is a critical component for changing our systems toward a more sustainable and thriving future. This is an invitation to deepen understanding and clarify how to navigate and contribute in this shift.
This is not intended as a lecture. It is a living exploration, an opportunity to engage directly with the evolving story of IDG.

The Deep Dive is intentionally designed as an emergent learning environment.
Rather than following a rigid curriculum, we focus on creating the conditions for meaningful learning, insight, and transformation to occur.
Together we will practice

An even deeper understanding of the IDG story and movement
Enhanced capacity to support and potentially train future ambassadors
Greater confidence facilitating emergent learning spaces
Stronger relationships across the global ambassador community
Practical experience in collective inquiry and co-creation
Renewed inspiration and commitment to inner development for outer change

The gathering is held by facilitators who have walked with the IDG movement from its early years and continue to carry the work forward.

A long-time practitioner and facilitator within the IDG community, holding space for reflection, dialogue, and inner development in leadership contexts.

Psychologist, researcher, and project lead for the IDG Ambassador Programme, weaving evidence-based practice with the lived work of stewardship.

Hosts and coordinates the gathering, tending to the rhythm and relational fabric of the four days on Ekskäret.
Glimpses from previous Ekskäret gatherings. The rhythm is unhurried: circles of conversation, walks between the pines, meals shared, quiet time by the water.

Located in the Stockholm Archipelago, Ekskäret provides a unique environment for reflection, dialogue, learning, and community.
Surrounded by nature and removed from everyday distractions, the island offers the conditions needed for deep conversation, meaningful connection, and collective exploration. The island also holds a meaningful place in the origins of the IDG movement.
